Our client is a prominent logistics solution provider with a global presence. They are now looking to hire a highly driven, dynamic, and analytical finance analyst to be part of their growing finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Expand and maintain the FP&A platform, including data models and dashboards.
- Produce, distribute, and present monthly and other management reports.
- Conduct complete financial analysis – variance, trend, contribution, and drivers.
- Create insights on asset performance, improvement, and performance areas.
- Investigate with business and functions the material moving parts in performance.
- Maintain procedures and tools to document data analysis and business narratives.
- Support teams review data when making major financial decisions.
- Help the Finance team, Business, and Functions to create and run budgets and plans.
- Forecast financial trends based on performance metrics.
- Help evaluate business cases and strategies and address emerging issues or trends.
- Model business outcomes and project financial risks.
- Support the logistics and running of decision-making meetings and forums.
- Understand performance drivers of commercial, fleet, overheads, and other areas.
- Analyze ongoing operations and projects to assess performance against budget.
- Help identify efficiency opportunities and build cases for cost-saving initiatives.
- Design metrics to measure performance and track savings.
- Provide timely, accurate, and insightful reports to Finance and other partners.
- Present findings from fleet performance analytics clearly and concisely.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and financial statement analysis.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, including GAAP or IFRS.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial analysis software (e.g., Bloomberg, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
