Position Summary


The Accounts Assistant provides essential support to the Finance department within the renewable energy industry, managing day-to-day financial transactions such as accounts payables, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations. This role ensures accuracy in financial records and contributes to the preparation of reports, budgets, and audits. The Accounts Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining the financial health and eƯiciency of our renewable energy operations.


Key Responsibilities


  • Accounts Payables & Invoice Management: Process and manage vendor invoices and payments accurately, ensuring timely recording and compliance with company policies.
  • Bank Payments & Reconciliation: Manage and process bank payments using multi-national internet banking platforms and perform regular reconciliation of bank statements with internal records.
  • Expense Management: Review and process employee expense claims, monitor expense trends, and assist with budget management.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Assist with maintaining and updating the general ledger, including posting journal entries and reconciling accounts.
  • Financial Reporting & Project Accounting: Support the preparation of financial statements and reports, and track and report on expenses for renewable energy projects.
  • Tax Compliance & Audit Support: Assist with tax return preparation and ensure compliance with tax regulations and provide support during internal and external audits.
  • Administrative Support & Process Improvement: Handle administrative tasks including filing, document management, and stakeholder inquiries. Additionally, identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations and enhance departmental efficiency.


Skills & Qualifications


  • Possess a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline. 
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or a similar role. 
  • Experience with commercial off the shelf accounting software. 
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and financial reporting. 
  • Proficient in analysing financial data and generating precise, insightful reports. 
  • Possess the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. 
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others in a fast-paced, dynamic global set-up environment.
  • Bilingual with proficiency in English. 
  • Singaporeans preferred.
