Reporting to the Horticulture Manager, your job responsibilities, include but not limited to the following:
- Perform and oversee the horticultural maintenance of trees, shrubs, turf and landscape sites within the estate under the purview of the Town Council. This involves designing and implementing landscaping projects, supervising contractors, etc.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the horticulture and arboriculture matters of the estate assigned are well-maintained and attend to identified defects and shortcomings.
- Attend and resolve public feedback and provide advice concerning horticultural matters.
- Carry out visual trees assessment to the trees in the estate and submit periodic records.
- Attend meetings where necessary, involve in the improvmenet and upgrading works and liaise with National Parks Board (NPB) and other relevant authorities / agencies pertaining to horticulture and arboriculture works.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements:
- Possesses a min Diploma in Horticulture/Landscaping with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Certified Arborist will be an added advantage.
- Positive and independent individual with good interpersonal and organisation skills
- Able to withstand pressure and work beyond normal working hours and on weekends/public holidays

- Working hours : 5-day work week, 8.30 am - 6.00 pm (Mon to Fri)
