Currently, we have an opportunity for Infra Tech Support role to support one of our MNC clients, on a conctract of 12 months.
Job Scope:
· As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products.
· This includes both remote and onsite support, as well as configuring services running on various platforms.
· You will also provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas. Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting at the L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level.
· As part of your role, you are expected to perform independently and become an SME.
· You will be required to actively participate and contribute to team discussions, as well as provide solutions to work-related problems.
· Advanced proficiency in IT Infrastructure Operations is required.
· Server Architectures, Server Operating Systems, and Infrastructure Event Management with Advanced proficiency are recommended.
· Develop innovative solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies.
· Conduct regular system audits to identify areas for improvement.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in IT infrastructure.
Provide training and support to end-users as needed
Requirements:
1. Implement, administer, and troubleshoot RHEL systems.
2. Administer and troubleshoot container technologies ( OpenShift)
3. Keeping OS, databases, and software updates current across all servers.
4. Maintain operational & configuration document up to date. o Perform periodic performance reporting. o Perform disaster recovery operations when required. o Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving system issues. o Review security vulnerability report and remediate.
5. Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
6. A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
7. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Support and administer system in line with IT security policy.
Automation & database skillset will be an advantage
