Job Summary:
Overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring exceptional customer service, high-quality products, and efficient service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and develop a team of F&B staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses.
- Service Standards: Maintain high service standards, ensuring prompt, friendly, and attentive service.
- Menu Planning: Assist in menu planning, development, and implementation.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory, ordering supplies and controlling costs.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Quality Control: Monitor food quality, presentation and consistency.
- Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Sales and Revenue: Assist in driving sales and revenue growth through promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budgeting, forecasting and controlling labor costs and expenses.
- Communication: Liaise with other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of F&B experience, preferably in a supervisory or management role
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Basic knowledge of accounting and budgeting principles
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
