Job description:
Performs coordination with subcontractors and supervision works according to drawings, specifications and schedule.
Responsible for ensuring smooth implementation and monitoring of work progress.
Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards. Ensure safety compliance, quality control of materials/equipment on site.
Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors.
Liaise with stakeholders and carry out inspections with RE & RTO.
Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
Analyzing drawings to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.
Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.
Record and ensure proper documentation.
Any other duties as assigned.
Job requirements:
Diploma or above in Civil/Structural Engineering or relevant/equivalent field
Applicants should have certification in Supervise Construction Work for WSH (formerly known as BCSS), Lifting Supervisor, Scaffold, Work at Height, Confined Space Supervisor
A team player with the ability to work independently as well as in a team
Sound knowledge of Singapore building and construction safety regulations
Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment
