Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement data solutions to support business requirements.
- Perform data integration and distribution tasks to ensure data quality and accessibility.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), following Agile methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data management, analytics, or data engineering, preferably within the investment or banking industry.
- Strong understanding of data management principles, controls, and processes.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and SQL.
- Familiarity with data virtualization tools like Denodo is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Adaptable and quick learner with a strong desire to continuously improve.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
