Job Description
The main job responsibility for this position is the sales of clinical laboratory services; promote awareness of the products and services; understand customer’s needs, maintain positive working relationship, and strategize client engagement to meet financial targets.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
- Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
- Understand the needs of customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these needs
- Manage existing accounts
- Provide regular reports on sale activities
- Monitor market and competitors’ activity
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers.
- Meet sales KPIs
- Perform sales of clinical laboratory services
- Promote awareness of the products and services
- Strategise client engagement to meet financial targets
- Present product or service solutions and handle objections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. marketing, product development) to develop customized proposals and solutions
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Use CRM system to track sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify strengths and weaknesses
- Follow up regularly with customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Monitor and track sales performance against KPIs and take corrective actions as needed.
Education and Experience
- Diploma, Higher Diploma, Degree
- Required language(s): English
- Preferably with experience in medical industry
