Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the IT infrastructure maintenance, project management and operations support
- Assess new technology, installation, setup and testing
- Make and recommend system proposal and IT security for decision-making
- Support on IT Budget Planning
- Involve in IT roadmap and strategy planning by understanding implemented products technology’s lifecycle and roadmap
- Lead and drive existing core system technical refresh planning and execution
- Provide regular updates and reporting on a timely and accurate fashion
- Assist superior in establishing, maintaining and enforcing IT procedure and policy governance
- Plan, lead and direct fellow IT Engineer’s efforts towards assigned tasks and goals
- Remediate and rectify escalated issues or problems quickly and efficiently
- Implement and manage Windows-based infrastructure and associated technologies
- Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of Windows servers and systems
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related services
- Configure and troubleshoot Hypervisor Nutanix virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Manage M365 tenant and Azure tenant
- Manage Enterprise Backup like Netbackup and Veem
- Install, configure, and manage Windows servers and services, including IIS, SQL Server, System Centers, etc
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support enterprise-wide solutions
- Perform routine system and application updates, patches, and upgrades
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes and procedures
- Provide level 2 and level 3 support for Windows-related issues
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed
Requirement:
- Degree / Diploma in IT or Computer Science
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge in Cloud and IT infrastructure (i.e. Software defined infrastructure and virtualization)
- Deep and strong knowledge in Azure platform, Microsoft 365, virtualization platforms – Hyper-V and VMware
- Experience with enterprise backup like Symantec Netbackup, Veem Backup
- Experience with enterprise SAN like Nutanix
- Strong knowledge in Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), SAML, web Single Sign-on (SSO), DNS, TCP/IP Networking
- Experience in Project Management deploying mid-size to enterprise cloud infrastructure projects
- Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) and above
- Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-102) and above
- Good understanding of IT architecture, cloud infrastructure, platform solutions design & strategy and application & system integration
