Opening Job Opportunity:
We have an opening for an Application Engineer. You will work closely with your team to ensure day-to-day operations are executed. In this role, you will be responsible for:
What You Will Do
- Participate in the detailed design and development of mechanical components and systems.
- Create original mechanical parts and assemblies.
- Develop testing processes and conduct tests to validate new designs.
- Analyze problems or deficiencies and devise solutions to resolve them.
- Create plans and designs using CAD technology.
- Carry out on-site equipment installation.
- Perform maintenance services and diagnose equipment performance problems.
What You Must Have
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with specialization in design, materials, or mechatronics engineering.
- 2-3 years of mechanical design experience in the full technology development cycle, ideally related to precision machinery or complex mechatronics assemblies such as micropositioners, electric motors, or microscopes.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks) and additive manufacturing.
What We Appreciate From You
- Experience in leading and delivering at least two full technology project realizations, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams internally and externally.
- Sound understanding of basic physical and mechanical principles, manufacturing, and R&D through analysis, prototyping, and testing.
- Proficient understanding and experience in GD&T application and interpretation, tolerance stack creation and analysis, and precision measurement systems/methods.
- Solid experience in mechanics and mechatronics fundamentals, and various manufacturing processes and technologies, particularly in molding, casting, machining, and adhesives.
- A well-rounded mix of experimental, theoretical, and design skills, with aptitude in hands-on prototype lab work, including test, assembly, and measurement jig design.
