IT System Business Analysts
The scope of Services for the IT System/Business Analysts shall be as follows:
- Review system/application design specifications.
- Facilitate and support the System Integration Test and User Acceptance Test;
- Coordinate, facilitate and support any audit to be conducted by the Authority’s appointed auditor(s) on the IT application systems (hereinafter known as the “Systems”);
- Understand and review source codes from vendor(s) for deployment;
- Provide technical and project management support which includes managing the daily operations of the Systems, performing continuous review to improve the Systems, and ensuring that the Authority’s appointed contractor(s) complies with the Authority’s requirements;
- Offer support in managing, maintaining, and testing Systems, ensuring their efficient operation and functionality;
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and work closely with external parties, ICT providers or government agencies for the operational and maintenance works and new initiatives/enhancements of Systems;
- Manage and maintain IT Processes, track technical documentation and monitoring of progress;
- Review project deliverables (e.g. monthly project report, log review for privileged user access, test plan, test reports, application design/ code) to ensure the completeness for acceptance;
- Provide IT operation support for Systems; and
- Ensure that the delivery of the project is compliant with relevant policies and guidelines and to identify and close any compliance gaps.
The Onshore IT System/Business Analysts shall have at least 4 years of IT experience and the following skill sets:
- Strong knowledge in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies;
- Requirement gathering, requirement analysis, business process mapping, prepare business requirement specification, flow charts, logical diagrams, process improvements; and
- Relevant experience in Document or Records Management technology / platform is advantageous and good knowledge in web, applications and database data flow & design structure.
Candidate possessing one or more of the following capabilities and expertise will have added advantages:
- Cloud Certification from one or more Cloud Service Providers (preferred Azure);
- IT Project Management Certificate;
- Knowledge of application security and best practices in application development standards and methodologies;
- Good knowledge of testing methodologies with working experience in performing various application and systems testing; and
- Relevant experience in managing applications using Java technologies, SharePoint or SAP.
