Job description
Station :
· Effectively manage operations staff including fuel pump attendants, cleaners and cashiers in terms of planning work schedules and supervision of staff performance.
· Identify and evaluate employee training requirements and staff discipline, working in partnership with human resources team when necessary.
· Monitor daily fuel status and prepare reports relating to fuel levels, pricing, fuel stock orders and delivery.
· Attend to and manage all operation and c-store matters daily on site.
· Plan, supervise and carry out appropriate maintenance activities, working in partnership with the maintenance/ technician team when necessary.
· Planning annual estate and facilities improvement with prudent use of company funds.
· Conduct on-site internal quality assessment and inspection and daily recording of relevant maintenance issues in logbook.
· Plan and develop monthly report of service and product quality control improvement strategies for higher management.
· Efficient responding and handling of maintenance issues, accident, safety and emergency situations relating to Smart Energy stations.
C-Store:
· Routine inspection and planning of daily standard operating procedures to ensure c-store merchandise quality, cleanliness and organisation, as well as replenishment of stocks.
· Initiate and implement Monthly promotions and sales along with appropriate marketing materials.
· Check promotional items, price ticketing and system pricing to ensure they are regularly updated, correct and valid.
· Ensure all Company and vendor policies and procedures, and ensure safety and security rules are enforced.
· Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety of retail and stocks storage area.
· Create and maintain system for timely removal of expiring products.
· Monitor merchandise to check for out-of-stock items, expired items and damaged products.
· Maintain a proper daily occurrence record that records stocks return and exchange.
· Ensure stocks are properly stored, organized and accounted for in the storeroom and chiller/freezers in clean and hygienic condition.
· Carry out weekly and monthly stock checks and random spot checks on quality.
· Ordering of new stock based on customer demand/popularity/sales trends.
· Ensure inventory tallies with system records, receipts, and invoices.
Promotions and Customer Service
· Initiate promotional activities and identify items suitable for promotion in the store.
· Must have a good customer service, attentive to walk-in customers and able to provide more information to customer to encourage sales.
Job Requirement
· Candidate must possess at least a Higher Secondary / Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
· At least 2 years of working experience in oil and gas & retail industry.
· Preferably supervisor/manager specializing in oil and gas, general retail sales, purchasing and inventory management.
· Good communication skills.
· Willing to travel.
