The Head of Business Development is responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the organization by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic plans, and managing a team of professionals. This role involves extensive market analysis, relationship building, and collaboration with various departments to achieve the company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Strategies: Create and execute business development plans to achieve company goals.
- Identify Opportunities: Research and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate: Work closely with marketing, sales, product development, and other departments to support business development initiatives.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial feasibility studies and develop proposals for new business opportunities.
- Team Management: Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to the business development team.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in business development, or a related field, with a track record of successful business growth.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
