Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping:
- Perform essential bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and conducting bank reconciliations.
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payments to employees.
- Prepare financial reports and support budget tracking and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with external accountants for tax preparation and financial audits.
- Monitor and track expenses to ensure they align with company budgets, providing insights for cost management.
General Support:
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed by management, adapting to the evolving needs of a startup environment.
- Contribute to improving bookkeeping processes and procedures continuously, suggesting and implementing best practices.
- Support the team in streamlining operations and ensuring compliance with local financial regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in MS Excel and other accounting software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
