The Logistics Solutions Specialist is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies with Singapore and Japan HQ Sales & 3PL Departments to achieve 3PL sales targets. He/ She should be a subject expert in logistics technology and solutions which is essential to identifying and developing new and existing business opportunities. He / She will be involved in establishing and building business relationships and acting as the main point of contact for customers located in Singapore and Japan. The specialist will analyse sales performance, set up pricing models, and ensure the delivery of quality, reliable, scalable, and productive solutions to meet customer satisfaction.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve 3PL sales targets.
  • Identify new and existing business opportunities, establish and build business relationships.
  • Act as the customer’s main point of contact, liaising closely with internal departments to ensure queries, problems, or issues are dealt with appropriately.
  • Analyse sales performance and effectiveness of sales strategies through CRM data and other sources.
  • Set up pricing models through a strong understanding of 3PL variable and fixed costs and develop pricing strategies through analysis of competitors' pricing models and market trends.
  • Provide customers with the best possible solutions to solve their logistical issues, achieving and monitoring customer KPIs and initiatives.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly update reports on pipelines, targets, budgeting achievements, and review new opportunities and business acquisition plans to both Japan HQ and Singapore Office.
  • Collaborate with the 3PL General Manager and other stakeholders to analyze and identify the customer’s supply chain, operational flow, pain points, and needs to propose optimal solutions.
  • Design realistic supply chain and operational solutions, including a variety of solutions ranging from conventional operations to new technologies.
  • Design warehouse layouts to suit logistical needs and customer requirements using reliable software (e.g., AutoCAD) and operational design methods.
  • Operate the implementation of proposed and accepted operations, including planning, budgeting, and monitoring progress.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are reliable, secure, and scalable for future enhancements.
  • Evaluate and review the effectiveness of solutions and make necessary adjustments to improve performance.
  • Stay abreast of technology trends in logistics and propose technology solutions for improvements.
  • Conduct profitability analysis of 3PL projects to identify key drivers that enable strategic decision-making.

Other Requirements

  • Minimum Degree Holder in logistics, SCM, computer science
  • Minimum 5~6 years’ working experience in 3PL logistics, 3PL sales, IT related fields.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and Japanese to communicate with Japan and Singapore offices.
  • Possess customer-facing sales experience and strong customer acquisition skills.
  • Good understanding of logistics and supply chain operations and technology
  • Possess experience in leading and operating logistic projects.
  • Analytical and problem -solving skills.
  • Good presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
