We are looking for a Distribution Manager. You will play a pivotal role in development and implementation of strategies across the varied demand periods of the hotel in order to drive forecast.
Job Duties:
- Implement channel shift strategy based on analysis of distribution cost, Length of Stay, Price elasticity and Ancillary revenues.
- Communicate best practices in channel distribution management to operating teams and conduct periodical checks on channel parity across channels.
- Analyse reports and provide assessment to operation teams with tasks tied to applicable and agreed timelines.
- Champion all CRS (Central Reservations Systems) with involvement in all related implementation and integration.
- Enforce distribution management procedures to ensure compliance.
- Ensure PMS compliance with PPHG standards in terms of Rate Code, Rate description, Package elements, Market Segmentation, Yield Class, Guest profile, reservation quality, etc.
- Work closely with Sales and Revenue Department to achieve optimum yield.
- Maintain and analyse Revenue by Room type and ensure appropriate room type sale through various channels per Brand or Hotel product.
- Monitor group and transient business thresholds in accordance with selling strategies in Budget & Forecast.
- Follow all definite and tentative group bookings and amend selling and rate strategy accordingly to demand and yield.
- Assist in other duties as assigned.
Talent Profile:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in supervisory/management position in Channel Distribution or Revenue Management.
- Able to articulate electronic distribution channels for the hospitality industry.
- Familiar in Revenue or Channel tools.
