Specialising in areas like Strategic Communications, Public Relations, Web and Digital Communications, Media Studies and Creative Communications, our team coordinates units and delivers lectures, seminars, workshops and tutorials within a trimester system. Beyond teaching we conduct impactful research in related fields and actively contribute to university committees and task groups.
The Role
Join our vibrant academic team in Singapore as a Lecturer in Communications! This dynamic role involves preparing and delivering engaging lectures, tutorials and various teaching activities while mentoring postgraduate students. You will play a pivotal role in administrative and service functions both within Singapore and across the University.

Your contributions will significantly enhance our scholarly research outputs and professional activities, shaping the future of the Communications discipline. What you’ll bring to this role
- Possession of a PhD in Communication or a closely related discipline.
- Proficiency in contemporary curriculum and pedagogy approaches.
- Ability to develop and submit external research funding applications and secure research funding independently or collaboratively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary and collegial team.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English.
- Understanding of the transnational education context
