The Chinese Media Group (CMG) is seeking a highly motivated Senior/Brand Executive (Radio Promo) to join its Branding & Marketing (B&M) team. The B&M department is responsible for co-developing and implementing CMG’s products brand strategies, as well as driving effective marketing and communication plans to create strong brand value; these include Lianhe Zaobao, Shin Min Daily News, ThinkChina, ZBSchools, HeyKaki, UFM100.3, 96.3 Hao FM etc.

As a Senior/Brand Executive (Radio Promo), you will be primarily responsible for UFM100.3 in its local branding, marketing and event needs, while working closely with the rest of CMG to identify and tap on cross-promotional opportunities. You are expected to:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of CMG and its brands’ mission and business goals, especially UFM100.3’s.
  • Plan, manage and execute all marketing, promotions and event plans with accuracy and timeliness while staying aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders i.e. DJs, producers, designers, social media, business development, ad operations etc. to ensure smooth planning and delivery.
  • Build and manage relationships with other stakeholders beyond the immediate team, such as newsrooms, clients, vendors and partners to ensure effective execution of marketing and promotions plans.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report the marketing results of projects to internal and external stakeholders, where applicable.
  • Manage and ensure consistency in messaging and branding (e.g. logos, slogan, key visuals) across all communication channels (such as website and social media) and materials, reinforcing the brand’s identity.
  • Maintain and upkeep brand assets and workflow repository.
  • Drive the development of brand collaterals, including but not limited to premiums and merchandise.
  • Monitor and track budget with prudence.
  • Prepare and submit entries for any relevant local, regional and international media awards, and coordinate relevant communications based on competition outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree holder; candidates with at least 2 years of related working experience in media, public relations or marketing and communications preferred;
  • Proven experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns and events;
  • Highly proactive, creative, detail-oriented, responsible, resourceful project and event management abilities;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English;
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Able to work independently but also connect with people and collaborate as a team;
  • Able to work on weeknights/weekends due to events.
