Job Description
- Handle day-to-day general inquiries on shelter admission and related shelter matters
- Manage referrals and support assessment of applications for admission into TS
- Assist with shelter visits and support an assessment of clients
- Support in documentation and evaluation of case outcomes
- Identify and assess clients who may benefit from group work
- Identify and support the development of new group work, evaluate and modify
- Assist in assessing, developing and implementing discharge planning for clients
- Lead or assist in the implementation of respective types of group work (lead psycho-education groups that aim to provide information and or assist in therapeutic groups)
- Maintain daily records, update case files of clients and prepare reports for administrative and intervention
- Engage clients in a professional and therapeutic manner to understand needs and to build rapport with clients including all members of the family (especially children and vulnerable family members) purposes
- Follow up with and monitor post-discharge status and or outcomes of clients, and liaise with agencies on the progress of clients
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of group work periodically, including the group work and the impact on clients
Candidate Requirements
Technical Competencies:
- Diploma in Social Work (Degree holder may be considered for the role)
Core Competencies:
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- Prompt and timely reporting to MSF, Management etc.
Preferred achievements / characteristics:
- Passion in assisting disadvantaged and displaced.
- Experiences in volunteering for SSAs.
