Responsibilities:
- Create pastries and desserts for a variety of ala carte, set and buffet menus
- Run and operate the Pastry area
- Develop dessert recipes and maintain an inventory of ingredients
- Ensure all pastries and desserts are prepared and served in a timely manner
- Responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of kitchen staff
- Order, check stock levels and stock quality of all Pastry and Bakery items
- Follow proper Kitchen Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and safety
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in similar capacity
- Good knowledge in kitchen operations & administration and cost control
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Initiative and with good attention to detail
- Knowledge in Ala Carte and Banquet
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
