Role Purpose
The Project Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of specific work areas
or packages within the FPSO project. This role ensures the clean and timely delivery of scopes, facilitates
seamless integration with other project areas or packages, and ensures that the work is delivered within budget
and meets the project specifications and HSSEQ requirements.
Key Accountabilities
Project Management:
- Oversees the EPC phase to ensure the timely completion of engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
- Coordinates the issuance of RFQs and tender documents for the requisition of materials, equipment, and services for the project.
- Oversees the performance of high-value subcontractors and vendors to guarantee that the scope of work is fully delivered and complies with the technical specifications and HSSEQ requirements of the project.
- Delivers assigned work areas or packages for project integration and commissioning activities.
- Supports the integration and commissioning phases of the project, including the completion of any outstanding carryover and punch list items.
- Oversees the commercial performance of contractors and suppliers and implements necessary adjustments.
Schedule Management:
Develops detailed EPC plans and schedules for assigned work areas/packages, ensuring integration with the overall project schedule. This includes identifying all key elements of the EPC schedule and linking them to their predecessors and successors to construct a robust project timeline. Additionally, monitors the progress of the work, providing regular forecasts and updates to the EPC schedule.
Leadership:
Leads and motivates multi-disciplinary teams to excel. Offers insights to the Project Manager for the joint development of crucial strategies and plans. Makes prompt decisions and eliminates obstacles in the project as they arise. Engages in meetings with leadership and project sponsors. Advocates for and champions HSSEQ initiatives during all project stages.
Stakeholder management:
Engages with client representatives and other stakeholders of the project to ensure alignment of goals and objectives. Acts as the primary contact point for the client on all matters related to the assigned work areas/package. Provides regular reporting to the Project Manager and the company's management.
Team and resource:
Defines the resource requirements for the team on the project and fosters cohesiveness and collaboration to maximize their performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
Post graduate qualifications will be considered a plus.
Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry.
Minimum 10-15 years of experience in EPC projects or equivalent.
