As a Senior Consultant, Appl Architect (DevOps infrastructure engineer), you will be a professional who combines expertise in infrastructure development and IT operations to streamline and automate the process of creating, testing, and deploying infrastructure.


This role is crucial in bridging the gap between infrastructure development and operations teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient delivery of high-quality infrastructure provisioning.

DevOps infrastructure engineers play a vital role in modern infrastructure development and provisioning, as they help organizations achieve faster time-to-market, improved customer satisfaction, and increased operational efficiency.


What will you do?

The DevOps infrastructure engineer role encompasses a wide range of duties, including:

  • Collaborating with development and operations teams to identify and address bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities in the infrastructure automation process.
  • Designing and implementing automation tools and frameworks for automated provisioning of infrastructure required for software deployment.
  • Monitoring and managing infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to infrastructure automation development, deployment, and operations.
  • Implementing and maintaining version control systems, configuration management tools, and other DevOps-related technologies.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry best practices and organizational policies.
  • Continuously improving processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Proven experience in software development, Infrastructure provisioning, IT operations, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and technologies, such as AWS Code Pipeline , Fortify, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform
  • Strong experience in markup languages JSON and YAML, and programming/scripting languages such as Python, Unix Shell and TypeScript.
  • Experience with AWS cloud platform, cloud infrastructures and services, ensuring optimal performance, security and scalability.
  • Proficiency in AWS services like S3, Lambda, VPC peering, Cloudwatch, IAM, Elastic compute cloud, IAM, EKS, Opensearch , KMS, System manager, Transit Gateway and API Gateway.
  • Monitor and optimize AWS environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience in AWS networking, including configuring and managing network components such as VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, and ACLs.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and services, as well as experience in managing cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Technical expertise in infrastructure development, IT operations, and DevOps tools and automation technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • A deep understanding of agile methodologies and automation principles.
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures and microservices.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and the ability to implement security measures in automating infrastructure provisioning.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
