Role Responsibilities:
Work with team of experienced VFT executives focused on core operations, product development, procurement, sales, finance and partnership aspects of the business.
- You will be part of the accounting function within the company. This role will require you to support GL, AP and AR activities, and to be part of the monthly closing process and other recurring accounting activities for the entity.
- Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.
- Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities.
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required.
- Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement (GST/WHT/CIT/…), audits, procedures, and forms both statutory and internal.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in one of: business, finance, accountancy or similar field. CA, ACCA, CPA or CMA Certification is preferred.
- 2 - 3 years of experience working in audit, accounting/finance-related or similar field.
- Advance understanding and knowledge of accountancy and its software (e.g. SAP, etc.).
- Highly flexible, creative problem solver, with a strong ability to multi-task.
- High tolerance for ambiguity, changing work priorities and deadlines, and a willingness to take on responsibilities and to prioritize own work on multiple projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data, identify trends, and communicate insights effectively.
