To perform a full spectrum of People-related functions and provide effective People-business partnering support to the business units in all People-related matters.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Research and apply prevailing labour policies, employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to tripartite standards, employment laws for foreign nationals, Fair Consideration Framework
- Support and manage onboarding including drafting and issuing employment contracts, considering all relevant statutory terms and benefits
- Develop employee communications to inform employees about performance reviews and timelines
- Communicate with employees on areas such as benefits and claims eligibility and administration, payroll deductions, retirement, re-employment and termination guidelines
- Provide support to senior management in rolling out employee engagement activities to motivate employees to deliver superior performance in fulfilling organisational requirements
- Develop positive working relationships with people through strong interpersonal skills
- Build trust (being a trusted advisor) by assisting key stakeholders in solving people-related issues successfully
- Provide advice to line managers on managing voluntary employee exits to ensure employees leave with a positive association with the organisation
- Contributes to the development and implementation of People-related policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and employee experience
- Handle ad-hoc duties/ People-related projects as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognised university
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HR as an HRBP; Preschool industry experience preferred
- Detail-oriented and well-organised team player with strong multitasking abilities in a dynamic work environment
- Exhibits self-discipline and trustworthiness when entrusted with confidential information
- Possesses a sound understanding of HR policies, procedures, and local employment laws
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport and nurturing positive relationships across all organisational levels
- Highly analytical and detail-focused
- Boasts strong problem assessment and resolution capabilities
- Adaptable and flexible when faced with changes
- Capable of working both independently and as a valuable team member, recognising the value of teamwork in achieving higher levels of success.
