Smart Virtual Systems (SVS) Group is looking for a highly motivated Senior / System Architect who is both independent and highly initiated, demonstrating the capacity to discover innovative solutions to challenges. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing highly available and scalable microservices-based applications and platforms for autonomous manufacturing applications.
JOB DESCRIPTION
-Development of roadmaps for identified technologies, including but not limited to smart manufacturing platform
-Architect a cloud-native software solution and engineer a scalable container platform with security considerations.
-Design, develop, and deploy integrated Industry 4.0 applications.
-Implement DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment of microservice applications.
-Translate business requirements into technical designs.
-Realize high-quality design and code to create the ultimate user experience.
-Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure the project meets business objectives.
-Guide and mentor application developers in system development.
JOB REQUIREMENT
-Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or relevant disciplines.
-Minimum of 6 years of working experience with at least 2 years of working experience as a System Architect.
-Experience in Microservices, Containerization, and DevOps is needed.
-Hands-on experience in Cloud Native Technologies such as in microservices, DevSecOps, and Container Platforms will be extremely helpful in this role
-Proficiency in designing and developing microservices using at least one programming language, preferably C# .NET, Java, or Python
-Strong understanding of CI/CD Pipelines in a distributed environment using Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker registry, etc.
-Strong understanding of the Kubernetes platform including performance tuning, platform security, and monitoring tools
-Hands-on experience with deploying and managing microservices using container orchestration platforms (on-prem/public cloud)
-Well-versed with one of the cloud platform technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
-Can-do attitude and have good multi-stakeholder management skills
-Excellent troubleshooting, follow-through, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
-Articulate, able to present well and have good written skills
-Curious and excited in leading projects that require out of the box thinking
