Position: Vice President, Sales and Business Development


Description

Candidate will report to the Global Head and be working closely with the various teams to market the company’s financial services to its customer and cultivating a steady network of customers. Candidate’s place of employment will be split between two sites: Singapore and India, with India being the primary location to cover the Dubai and India markets.


Job Responsibilities:


· Identifying sales prospects, follow-up on new leads and referrals and other accounts as assigned for the India and Dubai markets.

· Maintain and further grow the relationships with existing clients, partners and vendors;

· Provides detailing and demonstration of products whenever required; Reports to Manager on the information, or feedback gathered through field activity; To be on duty at sales and marketing events as and when required by the assigned Manager.

· Provides recommendation and coordinates marketing strategies for the assigned product lines; Participates in execution of the advertising, sales and promotional campaigns; Generate and disseminate educational and marketing messages to target clients through company website or/and other channels; Evaluates the effectiveness of the marketing strategies of the assigned product lines; Prepares relevant reports for management and principals on the assigned product lines.

· Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.


Competencies


· Have a strong knowledge and familiarization on the derivatives contracts in various global exchanges.

· Have a good understanding on Company’s products and services as well as to provide value added service to the customers

· Familiar with the stand operation process of dealing, risk management and Operations.

· Have a basic concept of the trend of compliance and IT development in the industry.

· Understanding of company's marketing strategy and be able to promote Company’s branding by various means of marketing.


Skills Requirements:


· Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in related fields

· At least 10 years in derivative sales experience

· Highly proficient in communicating with native Tamil, Hindi, Punjabi speaking clients

· Familiar with the development processes of commodity and financial derivatives products or organizing of event or seminar is preferred,

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Good proficiency in Mandarin is a plus

· Culturally sensitive and versatile, with a strong sense of integrity and ability to function as part of a high-performance team;

· Strong influencing skills, persuasive and good in negotiations, logical in reasoning;

· Advanced user of MS Office suite.
