Senior HR Manager
Responsibilities:
- Advise business leaders and line managers in HR matters to deliver HR initiatives and solutions to drive and align the organization business goals in the region.
- Provide leadership and direction, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. Interpreting the HR strategies, policies, guidelines, and programs for the HR specialty areas like talent acquisition, performance management, HR Operations, Workforce Planning, employee relations, employee rewards, and other technical HR duties.
- Lead in the implementation of group wide HR policies and programmes.
- Responsible leading the HR teams to deliver the following responsibilities covering
a) Leadership & Strategic Initiatives
b) People Management and Development
c) Culture Building & Employee Engagement
d) Talent Acquisitions
e) Performance Management and Development
f) Operational Excellence
g) Employee Relations
h) Workforce Planning
- Experience in managing and resolving any employee relations issues, such as employee grievances, conflicts, complaints, disciplinary matters & unsatisfactory performance. Where necessary, conduct objective investigations.
- Consult business leaders in the area Comp & Ben, Talent Management, HRMS Development, as well as responding to employees’ queries.
- Building a strong organisational culture to support business transformation.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of relevant Generalized HR Operations experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory/leadership position.
- Possess a good knowledge and hands-on experience of multiple HR disciplines, such as talent acquisition and development, employee retention, organisational effectiveness, compensation practices and diversity
- Regional working experience with a good understanding of the local regulatory framework.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills to lead the HR business partner team in the region.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and coaching skills with the confidence to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Strong stakeholder management. Able to collaborate with all levels of stakeholders and build a strong rapport with key business stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset and perspective, comfortable with ambiguity with the ability to diagnose current state, anticipate future needs and recommend forward approaches.
- Result-oriented with strong sense of accountability for accomplishing assignments within timelines.
- Good understanding and practical application of local employment law and HR practices, policies, processes, best practices and familiar with the emerging HR trends.
- Collaborative, agile and resourceful.
- Comfortable in operating in a matrix structure, as well as a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Certified HR professional with strong HR skillset
