The Security Executive is responsible for overseeing the security operations at various locations/ sites in Singapore, ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. This role involves managing a team of security personnel, coordinating with various departments, and handling security incidents and emergencies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Team Management:
- Supervise and manage a team of security personnel.
- Lead to align Security Policy and compliance standards with the local team security personnel.
- Implementation of deployment roster in line with Ministry of Manpower’s regulations for the team of six security officers embedded in Singapore Security team and liaison with Control for contingencies deployment such as requesting for relief officer.
2. Policy and Compliance:
- Draft and review of all local Security Operations Procedures/ Guidelines.
- Provide operations and compliance advisory by briefing the security embedded and relief team members periodically.
- Review, validate and documentation of Emergency Contact Information and Secure Area Manager contact information.
- Liaise with Geography access control team to ensure compliance with access records procedures.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation, including:
- Employee's Leave of Absence records
- Non-Regular employee validation
- Lost photo badge records
- Daily temporary badge issuance emails, approvals, and records
3. Event Security Management:
- Lead as the security support for major events held across Singapore and off-site convention/ exhibition centres.
- Conduct security compliance review to identify, review and resolve any security gaps/ challenge which is align with Security Policy.
4. Coordination and Liaison:
- Liaison with overseas and local HR for employee confirmation records and instruct the team on photo badge processing, access programming and extension of their access period.
- Coordinate with respective line managers for contractors' photo badge printing, ensuring all records are kept for audit purposes.
- Coordinate with the security agency's finance team to verify monthly billings for validation and documentation.
5. Procurement and Budget Management:
- Develop Bill of Material/ Equipment and coordinate with Procurement focal prior to purchases for systems, personnel, and equipment related security services.
- Initiate procurement process of BOND Cart submission upon the quotation and approval are furnished by the HQ Corporate Security.
6. Training and Development:
- Conduct suspicious mail & parcel handling and bomb threat call handling training for security, facility, mailroom, and Singapore Shipping personnel teams through virtual calls on a yearly basis.
- Maintain and oversee all signed attendance records for audit purposes.
7. Emergency Response:
- Lead and coordinate the response to major security incidents precipitating within the locations at locations/ sites.
- Collaborate with the landlord and facility teams to conduct emergency drills twice a year, in compliance with SCDF regulations.
- Brief the team on tabletop exercises provided by the security agency to ensure effective preparedness.
8. Recruitment:
- Coordinate with HR to conduct interviews for hiring security officers, relief security officers, and security system admin on behalf of the Country Security Manager.
- Develop On-the-Job training for all newly embedded security members, with performance evaluations conducted by the security officer and security supervisor on the last day of training to ensure high standards.
9. Project Management:
- Support security system administrator on all projects to keep abreast of the progress.
- Uphold the role as security system in the absence of the security system administrator.
Communication:
- Act as the focal point between the security agency and Country Security Manager.
- Execute any tasks assigned by Country Security Manager.

- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
