Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to retail stores via phone, email, or in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues related to point-of-sale systems, printers, scanners, and other retail hardware
- Install, configure, and maintain retail software applications and systems
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal system performance
- Collaborate with store staff to identify and address IT-related issues
- Document incident resolutions and maintain accurate records
- Ensure secure and stable network connectivity for stores, including Wi-Fi and broadband connections
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve retail IT operations
- Proactively provide enhancements to enhance overall store operations
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support or a related field
- Knowledge of retail IT systems, POS hardware and software
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Passionate about networking technologies, routers, switches, etc
- Minimum NITEC cert in IT relevant field
- Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies
