Responsibilties
Jobscope:
- Managing CFO Group's client account and liaise with CFO Group's clients locally or oversea such as China;
- Reconciling bank and vendor accounts, posting to and balancing the general ledger, processing payments, and compiling segments of monthly or quarterly or yearly closings;
- Resolving accounting queries and addressing issues that arise from client portfolios;
- Verifying the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of accounting information received;
- Preparing timely reports on Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet (BS), Bank Reconciliation, and other supporting schedules in accordance with the Company’s accounting policies;
- Assisting clients in setting up their business flow and handling payroll when required;
- Ensuring clients' compliance with all statutory obligations;
- Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by management from time to time.
Requirements
Skills and Experience:
- Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/ Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of working experience in related field and preferred with experience in - maintaining full sets of accounts.
- Fluency in English/Mandarin is essential as the role involves direct communication with our Local/Chinese clients, ensuring effective and accurate exchange of information
- Knowledge of Xero is an added advantage
- Possess good accounting knowledge.
- Possess good time management, planning, and organizing skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and co-workers.
