Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Customer Service Manager, with expertise in sea operations. This role offers a dynamic and rewarding environment for individuals who excel in within the freight forwarding industry. This role ensures operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and compliance with international trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and facilitate activities related to NVOCC, sea export, sea import, triangle shipment, warehousing, and trucking. Resolve any operational-related issues promptly and effectively. Lead and supervise the ocean freight operations team to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality. Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, port operators, and other key stakeholders. Ensure compliance with customs requirements, import and export procedures, and all international trade and shipping regulations. Track and monitor vessel arrivals/departures and update customers about any deviations. Handle customer inquiries promptly and provide comprehensive solutions for their shipment needs. Participate in existing and new RFQ or bidding projects as needed. Support ocean business development and trade lane management. Prepare invoices for customers and verify subcontractor invoices. Ensure compliance with customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Prepare reports for customers and conduct performance analyses for upper management.
Qualifications:
· Diploma or Bachelor degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum of 10 years experience in sea operations within the freight forwarding industry.
· Proven experience in ocean freight operations and team leadership.
· Chinese language skills for liaising with clients
· Strong understanding of international trade regulations and customs requirements.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software.
