Job Description:
- Responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes.
- To ensure that engineering systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently and safely.
- Need a thorough understanding of the operational processes of an organization as this role is multidisciplinary, working closely with colleagues across a number of functions, including operations, purchasing and design
- Monitor and inspect Electrical & Instrumentation installation systems for projects.
- Prepare scope of work, sub contracts, and customer proposals including Tender preparation, submission and Tender Clarification follow up.
- Review Electrical and Instrument method statement for construction activities and Safe Work Procedure for operational plant & Construction site
- Provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of installation i.e. Control System Architecture diagram, Process control Philosophy and P&IDs
- Responsible for Electrical & Instrument System interfaces with the operational plant, meetings, technical clarifications, etc
- Review all relevant checklist for Inspection and Testing Plan on Electrical & Instrument System Installation.
- Ensure project meets International and Local code requirements.
- Perform Testing & Commissioning works.
- Provide specific expertise for problem solving of Electrical & Instrumentation issues.
- Monitor and inspect construction to ensure compliance with design documents.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth completion of the project.
- Ensure timely submission of monthly progress claim.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree of Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- Other engineering, technical and scientific degrees may be considered with appropriate training and relevant working experience
- Minimum 1-2 years in the Construction Industry
- Need to have knowledge of advanced process control (APC), distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC) & supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).
