Your role in the Team
You will be part of the Europe and Emerging Markets division within IG, working in one of the company's most vibrant, exciting and appealing departments, the Content divisional function.
As an SEO Executive, you'll join the SEO divisional team with the goal to enhance the visibility of our website in search engine results. Your key contribution to the business will be in increasing web traffic and elevating our brand's online presence with the ultimate objective of delivering commercial returns.
You will be sited in our Singapore office and your focus will be specifically on Emerging Markets, helping us target traders in Chinese speaking countries in particular. For this reason, knowledge of both Traditional and Simplified Chinese is critical to this role. The ability to implement an SEO strategy for designated markets in Asia leaning on your past experience will be important.
Your line manager will not be in Singapore, so you'll need to be able to work independently and as part of a team of a globally distributed SEO experts and content creators as well.
What you’ll do
Key Responsibilities:
1. SEO Strategy Implementation: Execute and refine SEO strategies for content, keywords, backlinks, etc., aligning with business objectives.
2. SEO content delivery management: Owning the end-to-end delivery of SEO contents, in partnership with internal and external stakeholder
3. Content Optimization: Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO-friendly content, incorporating relevant keywords and meta tags.
4. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and market opportunities.
5. Performance Monitoring: Use tools like Google Analytics to monitor and report on the website's traffic, rankings, and other SEO aspects.
6. Keyword Research: Conduct extensive keyword research to identify opportunities for organic growth.
What you’ll need for this role
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, Finance, or a related field.
· Minimum 4 years industry experience focusing on SEO.
· Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs).
· Strong understanding of Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools.
· Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration.
· High-quality reporting, copywriting, and analytical skills.
· Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems.
· Strong organizational and leadership skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
· Fluent in English, Traditional Chinese (mandatory) and Simplified Chinese
