The role reports to the Global Network Operations Programs Group (GNOP) which executes the company’s strategy by identifying and managing programs of change that enables service excellence and operational efficiency. The team work closely with the various Business and IT teams, driving change of both a business operations process and IT solution nature.
Key Tasks
- Product Management subject expert
- Conduct Regional and Facility Network Operations Reviews
- Business analysis, process review and requirements definition
- User group management and communication
- Software Development cycle participation
- Deployment preparation and support
- Post program implementation and follow-up
- Support contingency operations for process and relevant issues
Responsibility
- Influence direct/indirect team members including project/program work objectives, performance and management where required.
- Support business groups understanding, keeping them interested, involved, informed and all necessary decisions carried into the development of new/better processes and systems.
- Work with a global, virtual team drawn from Operations, IT and other functions in support of the objectives.
- By fully supporting the program/domain manager, ensure that products/solutions are properly signed off and accepted, then deployed into the relevant processes, with strong follow-up as needed.
- Input to the design and development of solutions that meet the programs and/or change requirements. This may include multiple work-streams and projects.
- Provide strong accountability of a specific business process area and the development road map to help achieve both tactical and strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Business Degree qualifications.
- Certification or experience in requirements analysis/gathering, process definition and related work.
- Minimum 5 years of experience, including equivalent BA experience
- Exposure to Business process, analysis and testing
- Experience in managing process and requirements development
- Experience across country and regional level with Global Experience preferred.
- Strong customer service focus, problem-solving mindset, and analytical skills.
- Well-developed analytical skills with related experience in the use of (preferred) structured methodologies, modelling techniques and tools and / or willingness to adopt new techniques.
- Practical experience of business process analysis, mapping and implementing process change Demonstrable experience in the analysis, design and implementation of business and IT solutions
- Good facilitation skills
- Strong creative thinking and the ability to see the ‘bigger picture’
- Solid communication skills (written and verbal), presenting ideas clearly and effectively to business partners and other project team members.
- Understanding of processes and solutions in international shipment industry with strong business acumen
- Understanding of the principles of change management.
- Continuous improvement methodology experience
- Willing to travel as required
