Job Description: Join our esteemed art gallery as Media and Graphic Design Assistant where your primary role will involve creating design works for exhibitions and promotional materials. You will also play a crucial role in managing our social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Xiao Hong Shu, and our official website.
Responsibilities:
- Lead gallery’s design production and planning of art exhibitions and publicity communications
- Design and produce graphic and written fabrications of exhibition materials, advertisements and innovate gallery’s promotional publications
- Based on content needs, engage in media layout arrangement and copywriting design; assist in design and aesthetic work for other departments.
- Process and edit digital photos and videos for events and marketing materials
- Collaborate closely with artists and team to ensure quality and timely completion of various design projects
- Effectively manage production budget by drawing on relevant knowledge and experiences
- Assist with the development and management of our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Xiao Hong Shu) and website
Qualifications:
- Experience with design and art related fields, work experience in art institutions will be a plus
- Meticulous and disciplined with strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Independent, resourceful and possess excellent time management skills.
- Excellent reading, writing, and speaking skills in both English and Chinese required.
