Overview:
- We are seeking a Data Developer to create and implement mission-critical applications from the ground up. You will be involved in designing, developing, testing, and deploying new applications as part of our strategic transformation program. This role will utilize Agile methodologies, cloud technologies, microservices, and Big Data to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop complex, transformative applications within dynamic and high-energy teams.
- Utilize the latest tools and techniques in software development.
- Engage in hands-on coding, often in a pair programming setting.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to produce high-quality code.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of model implementation, data structures, data manipulation, distributed processing, application development, and automation.
- Possess knowledge of consumer financial products, data systems, and processes critical for implementing Risk and Finance models.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven hands-on experience with Spark, ScalaSpark, and distributed computing.
- 4-6 years of experience with Spark, ScalaSpark, Python, and Hadoop (Hive, HDFS).
- 4-6 years of experience in developing and implementing applications.
- 3-5 years of experience with Unix shell scripting and SQL.
- 2-3 years of experience in Spark programming.
- Knowledge of microservices, cloud technologies, Java, and Scala is a plus.
