Job Description:
The Finance Business Partner (FBP) will play a critical role in supporting the financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes for Spot Business Unit. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments including Operation team, Marketing team, BD team, Quantum Trading team, Risk Control team, providing strategic financial insights and ensuring that financial objectives align with the high-level business strategy and growth target. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of financial principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that enable management to determine progress against strategic/business plans and budgets.
- Provide insightful and actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.
Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with department heads and senior management to develop financial strategies and plans.
- Act as a liaison between finance and other departments, ensuring a clear understanding of financial goals and challenges.
- Provide financial guidance and support to drive business initiatives and improve operational efficiency.
Reporting:
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs/OKRs) to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of board presentations and other executive-level reports.
Budgeting:
- Coordinate the quarterly budget process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions from the business units.
- Consolidate BU budgets into an overall corporate budget, providing detailed analysis and recommendations.
- Monitor budget performance and prepare variance analyses comparing actual results to budgeted figures.
Cost Management:
- Monitor and control Future BU expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Support the development of cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects and investments.
- Implement and manage financial controls to ensure budget adherence.
Strategic Initiatives:
- Participate in strategic planning sessions, providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Support merger and acquisition activities, including financial due diligence and integration planning.
- Lead or support key financial projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum 5+ year experience in FP&A, FBP, or similar role with strong emphasis on financial analysis and business partnering.
- Strong knowledge of Spot trading, market campaign, growth strategy. Work experience in blockchain industry with a FBP experience or FP&A experience is a must
- Strong FP&A skills, budget planning, cost controlling, and ROI analyzing
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite) and financial reporting software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Able to communicate with chinese speaking stakeholders
