An exciting new Mechanical Design Engineering position for a global market leader in the global manufacturing industry
Your new company:
My client is a global technology company that designs, develops and manufactures the highest quality, most accurate and reliable control valves and safety valves products, services and solutions to their customers across a large range of process industries.
Your new role :
•Manage BoM and provide technical support for Pressure Safety Valves (Consolidated) and Control Valves (Masoneilan).
•Offer global engineering support for Channel Partners and Aftermarket Centers in selecting, repairing, maintaining, and replacing Masoneilan and Consolidated products.
•Execute design and analysis projects to develop valves that meet customer needs and specifications.
•Review and translate customer specifications into manufacturing instructions.
•Provide bills of material, drawing information, test specifications, and processing instructions.
•Create and manage the design review process to ensure accuracy, quality, and manufacturability.
•Utilize design tools like 2D/3D CAD (SolidWorks/ProE/UG), Excel, and in-house design calculations.
•Engage with teams on organizational initiatives aligned with business objectives.
What you'll need to succeed:
•Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
•Strong technical knowledge to handle field issues and technical queries.
•Preferably knowledgeable about Control valves, Pressure Relief valves, and Safety valves.
•Proven success in process and program management.
•Experience with ERP systems such as PLM, SAP, or Oracle.
•Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
