Chemistry Analytical Intern
Intern Role
Working Hours: 60 workings hours per month / 3.5days a week
Salary: SGD2k - SGD4k
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for literature search and summarization of key points related to UV, visible light, fluorescence, or electrochemical analysis methods.
2. Responsible for experimental analysis of organic compounds, product separation, structure identification, and spectral analysis.
3. Able to independently prepare standard solutions, analyze samples, and organize data reports according to project requirements.
4. Responsible for the safe management of laboratory equipment and chemical reagents, and perform regular standard calibrations on testing equipment.
5. Able to complete other tasks assigned by the company.
Requirements:
1. PhD in Instrumental Analysis, Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Materials, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
2. Strong interest in the development of analytical chemistry or environmental monitoring technologies.
3. Familiar with UV-visible light, electrochemical, fluorescence, and other related instrument control technologies is preferred.
4. Good communication skills and a strong sense of teamwork.
5. Solid and rich knowledge in related chemistry fundamentals and excellent experimental skills.
6. Good innovative skills and potential to independently undertake sub-project development.
7. Candidates who're bilingual in both English and Mandarin are preferred.
8. Singapore Citizen/ PR preferred
