Optical Design Intern
Intern Role
Working Hours: 60 workings hours per month / 3.5days a week
Salary: SGD2k - SGD4k
Responsibilities:
1. Familiarize with optical components, from specification formulation to component design and processing, to final samples and mass production, and be able to cooperate with structural evaluation and optimization.
2. Have independent optical system design capabilities, design optical systems and simulate them, and provide review opinions on the design.
3. Analyze and solve optical system problems, plan and implement optical product trial production and mass production follow-ups, and write related technical documents.
4. Proficient in optical assembly processes, design optical-related tools to improve product optical performance, and improve process technology and reliability in production.
5. Collaborate to complete other tasks assigned by the company.
Qualifications:
1. PhD Degree in Optical Engineering, Measurement and Control Technology, Precision Instruments, Optoelectronic Information Engineering, or related fields.
2. Familiar with various optical device assembly methods and processes, understand various optical components, and have strong hands-on capabilities.
3. Familiar with digital circuit and analog circuit design, proficient in circuit diagram design software, and able to understand circuit schematics.
4. Solid foundation in optical theory, experience in imaging optics, environmental optics system design is preferred.
5. Understand the knowledge of optical lens processing performance, have certain optical system assembly experience, and proficiently use relevant professional software, such as optical design software.
6. Candidates who're bilingual in both English and Mandarin are preferred.
7. Singapore Citizen/ PR preferred.
