Our client is serving the Oil & Gas and Marine Offshore industries’ companies. It is looking for a Piping Engineer.

Responsibilities:
· Study the project requirement, specification, scope of work and scope supply and other requirements stated
· Attend periodical meeting with client to discuss on the engineering clarification and •engineering status:
· Technical Query (TQR)
· Piping Insulation Document & Drawing Status (isometric drawings, P&ID’s, Piping GA’s, etc.)
-FIM & DM supply piping material status
-Engineering Clarification / Proposal
· Responsible for the master material take off (MTO), procurement of insulation materials and to expedite delivery for materials
· Take charge of master status of Engineering, Procurement and construction status
· Coordinate with fabricator and project team for the execution of insulation work
· Prepare necessary documents for additional claim/instruction to sub-contractor (JCS/JCR/Site Instruction/Timesheet “A” and “AA”).
· Resolve engineering matters as advised or instructed by the department head and engineer manager
· Establish sequence of priority for piping completion with other relevant departments
· Ensure work and materials are in accordance with sequence and stated quality standards and requirements
· Supervise fabrication and installation of piping items are in accordance with drawings and clients’ specifications
· Organize and control shop fabrication activities
Requirements:
· Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
· Minimum 8 years of experience in marine/shipyard operations involving site piping fabrication and supervision works
· Highly motivated individuals with good organizational skills and leadership skills
· Able to adapt new work environment and able to lead independently
· Active and positive minded
· Proficient in MS Office applications | Familiar with Excel is very crucial for this role
For Engineering role candidate, he must be PC literate with good Microsoft Excel knowledge to follow up and close up Engineering Issue, Procurement Issue and Construction issue and Test Pack Preparation work.

Job Related Information:
- Permanent| 5.5 days’ work week | Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday 8am-12pm
- Office’s Location: Gul Rd, Singapore.
Salary & Benefits:
- Monthly Basic Salary: Based on expertise, academic qualification and skills
- OT pay entitlement: OT Flat rate S$8/- per hour
