Responsiblities include the following depending on position as warehouse or delivery assistant:

2. Safely and efficiently unstuff or load / unload heavy cargo from heavy trucks and containers.
3. Assist lorry delivery drivers to deliver goods to location designated by company.
4. Maintain records by counting unloaded goods and updating tally and load sheets and system.
5. Quick learner, learn how to use the mobile app for completing delivery transactions.
6. Securing cargo safely and efficiently for lifting by forklifts and storage on high racks.
7. Assist in conducting physical inventory counts.
8. Good customer service, service oriented if facing customers during delivery with lorry drivers
9. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping of warehouse and containers, disposing of trash, broken pallets, shrink wrap.
10. Follow proper safety protocols for handling and storing heavy cargo.
11. Evaluate and assess cargo for transportation using vans or lorries.
