Job Overview:
As a Web Developer at Amber Creative, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to our client's specifications. You will create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to create user-friendly web pages.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code by using best software development practices.
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
- Create and maintain software documentation.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Perform regular website updates and maintenance.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply them to operations and activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven working experience in web programming.
- Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS/Javascript.
- Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: C#, JAVA or PHP
- A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
- Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming, and web application development.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React and NextJS
- Knowledge of backend frameworks like NodeJS or .NET Core
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services and AWS/Azure Cloud environments
