Role Overview:
In summary, the key responsibility is the first line of support for our brokers and traders, the role is essential to keep the business moving due to the ever growing requirement for technology integration in our broking business. The role encompass a wide range of activities and engagement with stakeholders across multiple departments as well as our front office staff.
Role Responsibilities:
Senior Associate
· Manage business demand in and around the platforms. Balancing day to day support demand along with projects and new initiatives.
· Work with support and delivery teams in support resource planning
· Ensure support aspects of the platform are clearly documented and understood by relevant stakeholders
· Faces off to senior desk heads and business managers and can handle tough conversations while maintaining customer service approach
· Take lead roles in project work
· Assist in training associate level team members
· Demonstrates expertise in the asset class being supported (flow, application use, trader interactions)
· Assist in creating and maintaining team documentation
Market Support
· Broker support
· Trade issue investigation
· Trading application support and investigation
Market Control
· Instrument/curve creation and configuration
· Client/account onboarding and maintenance
· Trading and settlement holiday amendments
· Maintain client credit matrix for selected products
Client Services
· Deployment of ICAP’s trading platforms, either by internet or Java webstart
· Technical support
· STP and API support
· Liaise with 3rd parties such as ION, Markit, Traiana, ICE, Reuters
Experience / Competences:
Skills and Experience required
· High technical competency
· Strong client facing ability
· Service oriented with good understanding of trade flows
· Experience in a support role from a market or technical perspective
