Purchasing Executive

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from vendors
  • Responsible for updating pricing and maintaining Material master data
  • Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the factory
  • Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions
  • In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules
  • Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation
  • Responsible for creating Supplier contracts and negotiating for the terms and maintain Agreements
  • Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements
  • Coordination of purchasing activities with manufacturing, aftermarket and engineering departments.
  • Implementation of lean programs with suppliers.
  • Maintenance of inventory at planned levels.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Management, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years of sourcing experience in manufacturing related industry
  • Globe 3 ERP System & MuRho Inventory Management System knowledge would be highly advantageous
  • Well-skilled in utilizing Microsoft Excel, specifically skilled in leveraging the functionalities of Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions
  • The capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent command of English and Mandarin (both oral and written)
