Key Qualifications:
- You hold a degree in computer science or a related field (bachelor's/master's).
- You value delivering high-quality solutions and are committed to staying updated with the latest technologies, always looking to improve and share your knowledge.
- You possess over 8 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 5 years dedicated to DevOps roles, giving you a solid understanding of a broad range of modern technologies and best practices.
- You have deep expertise in managing and running CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitLab, GitHub Actions) and can automate pipeline setups with custom runners, prioritizing quality and security.
- Your experience covers deployment models from on-premise VMs to cloud-native solutions, and container technology is second nature to you. Ideally, you can advise teams on migration strategies for application modernization.
- Your skill set includes configuration management, infrastructure-as-code, and observability tools (e.g., Terraform, Octopus Deploy, DataDog, Helm).
- You have practical experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and are familiar with related platforms like OpenShift or GovTech's GCC. Certifications or knowledge of multi-cloud and cloud optimization are a plus.
- Your background in agile application development allows you to provide hands-on support to teams in their DevOps adoption. You understand how Internal Developer Platforms & Portals can enhance the developer experience.
- You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to navigate complex organizations and effectively support development teams. You understand client needs and user pain points, proposing impactful solutions.
This is a long-term direct contract role.
