Astek has an opening of a Mid to Senior level Backend Developer role with focus on .NET(C#). This position is for one of our project based in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and design scalable microservices-based applications using .NET Core.
- Architect and implement event-driven systems with Kafka.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and release new features.
- Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Write and maintain test cases using Test-Driven Development (TDD) to guarantee code reliability.
- Conduct code reviews and offer feedback to team members.
- Mentor and guide junior developers on best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Stay informed about industry trends and technologies to keep solutions modern.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the technical strategy.
- Engage in hands-on coding and development as necessary.
Requirements (Mandatory):
- 7+ years of experience in software development with a strong emphasis on .NET technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement microservices architectures.
- Expertise in event-driven systems with hands-on experience using Kafka.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Proficient in .NET Core, C#, and related technologies.
- Skilled in containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Knowledgeable about cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Capable of thriving in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
- Practical experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and crafting test cases.
Advantageous skills:
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) and DevOps methodologies.
- Familiar with other messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or AWS SNS/SQS.
Exposure to front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js. - Knowledgeable in various database systems including SQL Server, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
