Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmaceutical Product Launch/ Alliance Manager to lead and manage the launch of our biosimilar products successfully, together with our partners. The ideal candidate shall have a strong background in pharmaceutical sales and product launch strategies, with a focus on biosimilars. This role requires exceptional alliance management, and project management skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Launch Strategy Development:
- Develop comprehensive launch plans for biosimilar products, including market analysis, competitive landscape assessment, and go-to-market strategies with partners.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for each product launch.
- Work closely with partners to monitor tenders and develop pricing & bidding strategies.
- Project Management:
- Lead cross-functional launch teams, including marketing, sales, regulatory, medical affairs, and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of launch plans.
- Create and manage detailed project timelines, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
- Market Analysis and Insights:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify target customers, key opinion leaders, and market opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform launch strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including manufacturers and third-party distributors.
- Collaborate with the partners to develop and implement effective customer engagement and communication strategies.
- Regulatory and Compliance:
- Ensure all launch activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Work closely with regulatory affairs to manage product registration and approval processes in various territories.
- Ensure pharmacovigilance
- Marketing and Promotional Activities:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and educational programs to support product launches.
- Coordinate with the digital marketing team to implement online marketing strategies and social media campaigns.
- Budget Management:
- Manage launch budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
- Provide regular updates and reports on budget status and financial performance.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track and analyze the performance of launched products against established KPIs.
- Prepare and present detailed launch reports and post-launch assessments to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical alliance management, sales, or marketing, with a focus on biosimilar products and B2B markets.
- Proven record of accomplishment in successfully managing cross-functional teams and launching pharmaceutical products (globalproduct launches preferred).
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory environment, and market dynamics.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent).
