Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with client and other external partners.
- Analyse warehouse and driver performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular inventory count and reconciliations to maintain accuracy and integrity of stock.
- Ensure efficient use of warehouse space and resources.
- Monitor inventory levels and procurement to minimize stockouts.
- Develop and enforce warehouse procedures and ensure compliance with food safety requirements.
- Maintain effective inventory management systems using SAP software to ensure accurate stock levels and expiry.
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse and logistics, including receiving, storage, and distribution of products.
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff and drivers, including training, scheduling, routing and performance management.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required by warehouse activities.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Additional Qualifications:
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for reporting and data analysis.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Skills:
- Extensive experience with SAP software, particularly in inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
