The Head of Technology will be responsible for overseeing all technological aspects of the company while spearheading fundraising strategies to support technology-driven projects and sustainable solution relating to waste reduction. This role demands a blend of strategic leadership, technical expertise, and fundraising acumen to ensure the successful execution of our technology vision and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Leadership:
- Develop and execute the company’s technology strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the technology team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions and systems.
- Ensure technology infrastructure is scalable, secure, and reliable.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Fundraising and Financial Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support technology initiatives and projects.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with investors and funding organizations.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to secure funding.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals and technology needs.
- Monitor and report on fundraising progress and financial performance related to technology projects.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide effective solutions.
- Partner with the marketing and communications team to promote technology initiatives and fundraising campaigns.

- Project Management:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, with a strong understanding of software development, IT infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising, including securing grants, managing donor relationships, and organizing fundraising events.
